This more importantly affects with a greater requirement for work from home concept (WFH). Even though Employee Engagement has been widely researched only a few organisations are recognized for higher level of employee engagement. Moreover, there is dearth of research done on the determinants of employee engagement under the context of work from home and remote working practices. In this context this paper aims to conceptualize the impact of Leadership, Company practices, Job Security and Benefits, Empowerment, Rewards and Recognition, Trust, Technological Readiness and Learning Support on employee engagement. Furthermore, to study the moderating effect of gender and age on the relationship between the determinants and employee engagement in the higher educational institutes in work from home concept. 150 employees will be taken for the data collection through a questionnaire as the survey instrument which will be used.
