dc.description.abstractHow hard can open access (OA) publishing be for librarians? It turns out that the process is quite complicated and replete with unknown barriers. The presenters will share their experiences in securing a press to publish their global book project on academic libraries and Wikipedia. What adventures await librarians entering the OA path and how can researchers become advocates for themselves in OA publications? This online conversation will explore the hurdles, barriers and rewards the presenters encountered in the process of developing an OA publication.en_US
